Rent-to-buy possible, your condominium of tomorrow - how does the model work?
The rent-to-buy model offers you the opportunity to purchase your desired apartment after 5 years at the current purchase price (without valorization). You conclude a fixed-term rental contract for five years and decide at the end of the tenancy whether you wish to purchase the apartment or not. An extension of the rental contract is not possible. At the start of the tenancy, in addition to the deposit, a down payment of 10% of the purchase price is made. If you decide to purchase, the down payment made will be deducted from the purchase price. The rent paid is not creditable against the purchase price; the deposit will of course be returned to you. If you do not wish to exercise your purchase option, you will receive your down payment in full (with interest) refunded.
