Spacious period apartment with separate kitchen

An old apartment in a classic workers' house in Madling appears simple, functional and at the same time very authentic. Upon entering one reaches a long corridor that runs through the apartment. Along this corridor there are several windows that provide plenty of daylight. Despite its age, this area appears friendly because of this, even if the floor and walls already show signs of wear.

The individual rooms lead off this corridor – typical for older floor plans in which the rooms are accessible separately and do not open directly into one another. The rooms are similarly large, rather simply furnished and often equipped with old wooden floors.

The kitchen is separate, somewhat smaller and functionally furnished. One still finds older furniture or simple built-ins here that preserve the original character of the house.

The bathroom has clearly aged: simple tiles, older fittings and a small shower. It appears rather plain and clearly shows that it comes from an earlier time without modern renovation.

Overall, the picture of a practical, old workers' apartment emerges: no luxury, but with plenty of history, clear layout and its own down-to-earth charm.
