Rent-to-own available, your condo of tomorrow — how does the model work?

The rent-to-own model offers you the option to purchase your desired apartment after 5 years at the current purchase price (without valuation). You sign a five-year fixed-term rental agreement and, at the end of the tenancy, decide whether you want to buy the apartment or not. A renewal of the rental agreement is not possible. At the start of the tenancy, in addition to the security deposit, a down payment of 10% of the purchase price is made. If you decide to buy, the down payment is deducted from the purchase price. The rent paid cannot be credited toward the purchase price; in return you have a fixed purchase price that is not indexed. The security deposit will, of course, be returned to you. If you choose not to exercise your purchase option, you will receive your down payment back in full (with interest).
