Funding guidelines
As the project was funded during its construction by the State of Upper Austria (renovation grant), potential tenants must meet the following funding criteria in order to rent an apartment:
- The annual household income may be a maximum of 50.000 Euro for one eligible person, 85.000 Euro for two eligible persons. For each additional person without income in the household of the applicant, the amount increases by 7.500 Euro or by 8.500 Euro if the person is considerably disabled and thus receives increased family allowance. For each child not living in the household of the applicant but for whom maintenance payments are to be made, the income limits increase by 7.500 Euro or 8.500 Euro if increased family allowance is received for the child.
- The new apartment must be regularly used to satisfy a permanent housing need and registered as the main residence. Spouses must have the same main residence. A secondary residence is not possible.
- The previous apartment must demonstrably be re-rented or sold.
- Additionally tenants must belong to one of the following person groups:
- Austrian citizen or
- Citizen of an EEA state or
- Possession of the residence permit “Daueraufenthalt-EU”.
- Other persons may rent or acquire a subsidized property only if they have, in the last 5 years, 54 months of income or benefits in Austria and can demonstrate German language skills according to § 6 Abs. 9 – 13 Oö.WFG 1993.
We would like to point out that there is a familial or economic close relationship between the broker and the third party to be placed.
