The house and the apartment
This residential complex, the former Peterka clothing factory, was constructed in the year 1900. The entire property was comprehensively renovated in 2021. In the process, 20 modern apartments for investors and owner-occupiers were created on 3 levels (2 standard floors and the attic).
The apartment in question is a 2-room apartment on the 1st floor with a living area of ca. 50 m²:
All rooms are separately accessible. From the entrance area one reaches the living-dining area with a fitted kitchen, from here a door leads to the balcony. Also reachable from the entrance hall are the bathroom and the bedroom. It is heated with district heating. Wooden windows with triple glazing were installed on the historic facade. Parquet was laid throughout the living area. In addition to generous common areas, there are also covered carports with storage space assigned to each apartment. Additionally, charging stations for electric vehicles are provided.
The apartment is leased on a fixed-term basis until 31.10.2025.
The location
In the heart of the popular spa town Bad Radkersburg, a new, modern residential quarter has emerged in the historic former Peterka clothing factory.
The project stands out for a future-oriented infrastructure that harmonizes transportation, economy and ecology. A planned City Bus connection will in the future connect the quarter even better with the Old Town, the Parktherme and the train station. The latter is already within walking distance and offers a direct rail link to Graz. For commuters and mobile residents, the accessibility to larger cities is particularly attractive: only one hour by car to Graz, two and a half hours to Vienna, as well as an excellent cycling network, including along the idyllic Murauen.
The surroundings also offer a broad range of leisure and recreational opportunities:
- A variety of cycling and hiking trails
- The Parktherme Bad Radkersburg with comprehensive health and care facilities
- The well-kept old town center with southern European flair and numerous restaurants
- The culinary diversity of the Genussregion Südoststeiermark
- A vibrant art and culture scene
Public transport connections:
- Bad Radkersburg train station – approx. 800 meters (approx. 10-minute walk) → Direct train connection to Graz, ideal for commuters
- Bus stop City bus / regional transport (e.g., toward the Old Town, Therme) – approx. 750 meters (approx. 9-minute walk) → Planned new City Bus line will in the future connect the quarter directly with Therme, Old Town and the train station.
