Villa Atlantis

Villa Atlantis was built around 1920 on behalf of a wealthy teacher by a well-known master builder. With a living area of just under 200 m² and a daylight basement of about 100 m², an imposing building was created. In addition to high-quality construction, the building's complete daylighting through generous window areas was also a requirement of the client. Thus there is no dark room and the whole house radiates in a bright and warm atmosphere.

In 2022 the villa was purchased by the current owner, who with much taste and attention to detail has brought the house back to life. In doing so, both the quality of the trades and the charm of the era were wonderfully preserved. Thus, for example, the original windows, the doors, the staircase, the floors, as well as the lamps and some furniture have been preserved. Consequently, the electrical system and the water pipes were renewed and the sanitary installations brought up to the state of today, where the owner's art of reconciling history and modernity is especially evident. The villa has been colored in an emotional context. Thus four colors are dominant, reflecting the beginning and ending of the day, the changing light of the sun and the sky or the sea. Through 3D colors these emotions are wonderfully achieved. In addition, the color gold recalls the past era of the 1920s, (the golden age).

The daylight basement offers further space for individual use such as hobbies, office, etc. Since the electrical system and heating for the upper floor have been separated, use as a single- or two-family house (Belle Etage is accessible for people with disabilities) e.g., family and parents AIRBNB is therefore possible. Hot water is produced by electronic instantaneous water heaters. Another kitchen can be created on the upper floor.
