Funding criteria

Subsidized apartments may only be allocated to eligible persons.

Criteria

• Austrian citizens or persons of equal status
• the 60th year of life must be reached
• for people with health impairments
• who have urgent housing needs (proof of giving up the previous main residence within 6 months after moving into the subsidized apartment)
• and must not exceed the following upper limits of family income:

2 Persons 60.000,00 Eur

Each additional person 8.000,00 Eur

Housing subsidy

There is the possibility of additional funding in the form of non-repayable variable subsidies. The amount of the housing subsidy depends on the level of the family’s yearly income and the size of the family. Applications for housing subsidy must be submitted annually.
