Criteria:

• Austrian citizenship or those equivalent
• People with urgent housing needs (proof of leaving the previous residence within 6 weeks after taking possession of the subsidized apartment)

Housing allowance:

There is the possibility of additional funding in the form of non-repayable variable subsidies. The amount of the housing allowance depends on the size of the family’s annual income and the size of the family. The application for housing allowance must be submitted annually.
