Rent-to-own possible, your condo of tomorrow - how does the model work?

The rent-to-own model offers you the possibility to acquire your desired apartment after 5 years at the current purchase price (without valorization). You sign a five-year fixed-term rental agreement and decide at the end of the tenancy whether you want to buy the apartment or not. Extending the tenancy is not possible. When the lease starts, in addition to the deposit, a down payment of 10% of the purchase price is made. If you decide to buy, the down payment you have paid will be deducted from the purchase price. The rent paid is not creditable towards the purchase price; of course you will receive the deposit back. If you do not wish to exercise your purchase option, you will receive your down payment back in full (with interest).
