Brixen im Thale
As the oldest village in the valley, Brixen im Thale gave the valley its name. In contrast to many other Alpine valleys, the Brixental does not end in a cul-de-sac, but is open on both sides and connects the Inn Valley in the west with the Kitzbühel region in the east. Nestled in the gentle grassy hills of the Kitzbüheler Alps, the charming town lies in one of the most beautiful natural landscapes Tyrol has to offer – only about 10 minutes by car from Kitzbühel.
