About this apartment
Living in the Village in the Third
In the third district of Vienna, the Village in the Third is being created as a new part of the city – one of the largest urban development areas in Vienna. Across more than eleven hectares, ARE Austrian Real Estate, together with the City of Vienna and the wohnfonds_wien, is developing a vibrant, nearly car-free quarter with around 2,000 apartments, office and commercial space, child care, educational facilities and local supply.
The green heart is formed by the Bert-Brecht-Park, more than 2 hectares in size – an oasis for recreation, encounter and play. All roofs that are not accessible will be greened. Sharing offers, shopping opportunities and gastronomy are directly at your doorstep. Sustainability, short distances and high quality of life are the guiding principles of this new neighborhood.
With the slogan “naturally outdoors”, Building Field 14A embodies this idea in a special way: generous outdoor spaces, intelligent architecture, sustainable energy supply – living in the middle of Vienna, in harmony with nature.
Architecture that designs outdoor space
The building complex consists of two trapezoidal structures connected via the underground garage in the first basement. A total of 126 owner-occupied apartments are being built, complemented by a commercial space, as well as 65 car parking spaces and numerous bicycle parking spaces. Each apartment is also assigned a storage room.
Generous and welcoming lobbies greet residents and lead into spacious stairwells. Cutbacks in the upper floors and wide stairwells bring daylight deep into the common areas. A significant contribution to summer heat protection comes from green outdoor zones in front of the apartments and the textile sun protection on the balcony fronts. On the green roofs, a biodiversity concept creates new habitats for birds and insects.
