The centrally located holiday apartment can be used for 42 days per year for its own use. The remaining time is rented out as best as possible to holiday guests by the in-house management, so that at year end the owner achieves a good return. The apartment has been partially rented to holiday guests over the past three years and is therefore in a very well-maintained condition. In the case of commercial use, the input tax can be claimed and refunded by the competent tax office. A pre-agreed portion of VAT for the period of self-use is withheld by the tax office.
