The Kreischberg ski area is about 20 minutes by car.

In the region, hikes to the Auerlingsee and numerous interesting excursion destinations are offered: cheese production, beekeeping, guided tours through the raised bog, swimming in the natural bathing pond and much more. In St. Lambrecht there is the Benedictine Abbey with a bird and natural history museum. Trained nature park guides introduce interested parties to the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park.
