The municipality Liesing in the Lesachtal – is located at about 1048m above sea level and has only 130 residents. The Lesachtal is described as the most natural valley of the Alps - scenic, quiet, original, on the border between Austria and Italy, between the Lienzer Dolomites and the Karnische Alpen

The region has a long history and is known for its preservation of traditions and culture. Likewise, in the past the shoemaker craft played an important role. The “last Lesachtal shoemaker master” has left his cozy and original workshop in its original condition. And exactly this jewel of a house, with all its historical significance, is now for sale. A unique estate that is not just a property but also a testament to the Lesachtal craft history. The museum itself is also entering a new chapter, by relocating the tools and utensils to a Vienna museum, where they will continue to preserve the heritage of the shoemaker craft.
