The former villa of the Carinthian painter Franz Wiegele is located in Feistritz an der Gail in a rural village setting. Wiegele (1887-1944) was one of the pioneers of modern painting in Austria. He was one of the four members of the so-called Nötscher Circle. This impressive villa consists of an original part dating from 1915. In the east there is a large-format mosaic by the painter Franz Wiegele with a signature. In the 70s the house was expanded, creating additional living space.
