Lease-to-own available, your condo of tomorrow - how does the model work?
The lease-to-own model offers you the possibility to purchase your desired apartment after 5 years at the current purchase price (without valorization). You sign a five-year lease and at the end of the tenancy decide whether you want to buy the apartment or not. An extension of the lease is not possible. At the start of the lease, in addition to the deposit, a down payment of 10% of the purchase price is paid. If you decide to buy, the down payment is deducted from the purchase price. The rent paid is not creditable toward the purchase price; in return, you have a fixed purchase price that is not indexed. The deposit will be returned to you, of course. If you do not exercise your purchase option, you will receive your down payment back in full (with interest).
