Wiener Stadtoase – Sustainable living near the Äußere Mariahilfer Straße!

With the Wiener Stadtoase, a modern residential project is being created in the heart of Vienna's 15th district that combines sustainable construction, innovative energy technology and contemporary living comfort. Sustainable energy concept

The Wiener Stadtoase convinces with a future-oriented energy concept that completely avoids fossil fuels. Geothermal energy using deep probes, energy-efficient heat pumps and concrete core activation for heating and cooling provide a pleasant indoor climate all year round. A controlled residential ventilation system with heat recovery additionally increases living comfort and energy efficiency.

The system is supplemented by the use of waste heat from the supermarket located in the building as well as by a photovoltaic system on the roof. High-quality construction and comprehensive greening measures also contribute to a pleasant microclimate and sustainable energy supply.

Highlights of the energy concept:

• Heating and hot water using geothermal energy (deep probes) and heat pump
• Concrete core activation for energy-efficient heating and cooling
• Photovoltaic system on the roof
• Facade greening as well as greened inner courtyard

By consistently using renewable energies, the building's CO2 footprint is significantly reduced. The low-temperature system also offers high future security and flexibility with regard to future energy supply systems. A DGNB Gold certification is being sought for the building.
