West of the federal capital Vienna, between Purkersdorf and Pressbaum, lies the idyllic Irenental, embedded in the hilly landscape of the Vienna Woods. The Untertullnerbach station with rapid train connection toward Vienna is two kilometers away at the entrance to the Irenental. The western Vienna city limits can be reached by car via the B44 in a little over ten minutes.

Directly across from the house lies the Nature Active Club of the Austrian Federal Forests with an archery course. Not even two kilometers away, at the valley entrance to the Irenental, you will find the Purkersdorf Climbing Park. The well-known Wienerwaldsee with a skating and beach volleyball facility, a playground, as well as the panorama path around the lake, which is popular with runners and cyclists alike, is reached after about three kilometers. On the way there you also pass the next supermarket as well as a gas station and a car wash.
