Fieberbrunn is the largest town in the Pillersee Valley. The market town of Fieberbrunn lies in the valley of the Fieberbrunner Ache between the Kitzbühel Alps in the south and the western foothills of the Leoganger Steinberge. The good social infrastructure with shops for daily needs, kindergarten, school and doctors makes Fieberbrunn a sought-after place to live. In December 2015, the Fieberbrunn cable cars merged with the Saalbach-Hinterglemm/Leogang Ski Circus. The Ski Circus Saalbach-Hinterglemm/Leogang/Fieberbrunn comprises a total of 270 piste kilometres. The ski area is especially known for its freeride offering. In addition to skiing, a 27-kilometre long network of cross-country ski trails is available.
