Linzerstraße is one of the longest and most magnificent streets of Braunau's old town.

From its history as a fortress town, today visible parts of the fortifications and the Iron Horse still bear witness, the Iron Horse recalling the last slaughtered horse during a long siege by Austrian troops and that after the end of World War II it was used as a target.
