Fruit growing company and agricultural operation in the Wachau

On about 1,6 ha of own land as well as an additional ca. 1,8 ha of leasehold (partly with a long-term waiver of termination by the lessor) there thrive a variety of productive and rare fruit varieties.

Around 2,3 ha as a contiguous area, lease areas in close proximity. Well machine-accessible, well maintained, 1/3 old stock, 2/3 at the beginning of the yield phase.

Currently everything is marketed and processed in-house: fresh sale, jam, jelly, syrup, liqueur, brandy, apricot wood products…….

Besides the 1963 approved old stock “tool shed with fruit storage cellar” (renovated), there is a newly erected building “storage and tools shed” with an area of 60 m² in dwelling-house quality. Large water cistern, preparation for a PV installation. Buildings on green land, all building permits granted, not designated for residential purposes!

Expansion toward vegetable cultivation, e.g. market gardening, would be good possible; areas for poly tunnels/glass houses were considered during planting.

• Elderberry facility for 3 to 5 000 liters elderberry syrup (jelly, liqueur)
• Additional 130 various fruit trees for creative products

Projected annual revenue of about € 180.000,- at full yield (and suitable weather)
