About 12 km above Strobl on the Wolfgangsee at an elevation of about 1,100 metres lies Austria's largest connected alpine pasture – and Europe’s second-largest high plateau: the Postalm. The via ferrata "Postalmklamm" is another highlight for active guests from near and far.

In winter the Postalm Winter Park invites gentle and harmonious winter enjoyment in harmony with nature. In addition to cross-country skiing, skiing, mountaineering and tobogganing, there are also various winter hiking trails available. The Winter Park on the Postalm offers a varied program for nature lovers and families. Here adults and children can exercise, enjoy and have fun together.
