The Kreischberg ski area is around 20 minutes away by car.

In front of the estate there is a 5,000 m² playground with a volleyball court, table tennis, wooden skittles alley, barbecue area, fountain, stream and oven.

In bad weather, the 80 m² play and lounge room in the attic is available for lessons and project work.

There is a play barn in the stable building with billiards, table football (Wuzzler) and table tennis. Making pizza in the brick-built stone oven in the vaulted kitchen is extremely popular with young and old.

Hikes to Lake Auerlingsee and numerous interesting excursion destinations are offered in the region: cheese production, beekeeping, guided tours through the raised bog, swimming in the natural bathing pond and much else. In St. Lambrecht there is the Benedictine monastery with a bird museum and a natural history museum. Trained nature park guides introduce interested visitors to the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park.
