Since 1980, this house was the home and place of work of the renowned Burgenland painter and sculptor Matthias Lidy.

His artistic design is formative for the character of the house. Sandstone in numerous formations dominates the surroundings of the house. This includes, among other things, the mosaic on the steps and terrace in front of the house.

The sandstone design continues on the spacious terrace with a sculptural table and barbecue. A beautiful sandstone wall adorns the garage driveway. In both bathrooms, ceramic wall reliefs create artistic accents. Another special design element is the railing made of copper pipes on the terrace facing the street.

Cypresses, palm trees and a fig bush give the natural garden a Mediterranean atmosphere, while tall trees such as maple, linden or poplar and a water lily pond provide a sense of established naturalness. The residential house stands on an 810 m² plot and has approximately 113 m² of living space on the ground floor. The upper floor, with over 110 m², was used as a studio. In addition, 110 m² of basement space including a garage are available. Thanks to its generous windows, the house offers bright rooms on both the ground floor and upper floor.

The house is largely in its original condition from 1980 and therefore offers its future owners corresponding potential for modernization and design. The heating system was renewed in 2021.
