Short description

This historic building, which was known at the time as Knappenhof, now houses four condominiums. The creation of this residential building goes back to the 14th century. In the late 19th century the building was converted and thus received its present appearance. In 1991 ownership of the four apartments was established, which was finally changed and renewed in February 2025.

Location and surroundings

The market town of Pottenstein in the Baden district lies in the Triesting Valley in the Vienna Woods. It includes the cadastral communities Fahrafeld and Pottenstein. Like many other municipalities in the region, Pottenstein was long dominated by a local textile factory. To this day there are traces of the great industrial monument – as well as numerous other sights and excursion destinations. Beautiful hiking and cycling routes run through the Wienerwald.
