Numerous other events delight tens of thousands of visitors annually.
The Kamptal is one of Austria's most renowned wine regions, named after the Kamp River. It extends in the southeastern Waldviertel in Lower Austria and is world-famous for its mineral top wines (especially Grüner Veltliner and Riesling) as well as for its diverse cultural and leisure offerings!
The city of Horn is about 6,5 km away and offers an ideal mix of historic flair and a first-class infrastructure. A large shopping center invites you to shop. Dining establishments will surely welcome your visit. For your health there are pharmacies, doctors and the Landesklinikum Horn. Kindergartens and all schools are also available.
Family-friendly leisure opportunities, such as the Horn city lake with its recreation zones and play areas and an extensive network of cycling and hiking trails, are popular. Also one of the country’s most important prehistoric exhibitions is housed in the Museum Horn.
