The first walls of the residential- and commercial-building were probably already erected at the beginning of 1900; years later the ground floor was enlarged and a shop premises was set up in the front part.

Due to the central location, all infrastructure facilities of the market town Maria Anzbach are quickly and conveniently reachable even without a car. Thus the primary school, kindergarten, the music school and several doctors are in immediate proximity. A supermarket and the pharmacy are also reachable within a few minutes on foot. Further shopping opportunities, a secondary school and an upper-level Realgymnasium are located in the nearby town Neulengbach.

To Maria Anzbach railway station (S50, REX) one reaches after about 350 m, where both Rex and S-Bahn toward Vienna Westbahnhof or St. Pölten Hbf stop. The travel time by regional express to Vienna is 35 minutes or to the state capital St. Pölten only 26 minutes. A school bus runs Monday through Friday to the Neulengbach Gymnasium and to the Sacre Coeur school center in Pressbaum. The highway connection Pressbaum (A1) is reachable in about a quarter of an hour. To Vienna Auhof by car it takes about 20 minutes.
