Life is still really lived here. Birthdays are celebrated here, long winter evenings spent, games played, stories told and sometimes simply putting your feet up. Time seems to pass a little more slowly here anyway.

In the middle the mighty tiled stove. In winter probably the undisputed center of the house. While outside the forest slowly quiets down, here spreads that warmth which you cannot measure in degrees Celsius.

And then there is the massive wooden staircase, which fits into the room as if of course and draws the eye upwards. You can already sense that the story is not over up there.

Once upstairs awaits the bedroom under the roof. The visible wooden beams and the rustic furnishings consistently continue the story of the house. From up here the view falls once again down into the living room.
