The Schlosstaverne Sighartstein is one of the most important historic ensembles in the Salzburger Flachgau. First mentioned in documents in 1444, the property shaped the appearance of Neumarkt am Wallersee for centuries as a castle inn with its own brewery. Today the tavern presents itself as a carefully restored, stylishly further developed property that combines historic character with representative living and usage culture.

The medieval building core, the historic vaults and the carefully preserved building fabric give the Schlosstaverne an unmistakable identity. Restorations of the knight's hall, gentlemen's room and wine cellar were carried out with the highest demand for quality and authenticity.
