• The upper room is accessible via a staircase (500 years old from Kaprun) and a balcony.
• The wood for the expansion was taken from a 500-year-old farmhouse in Kaprun, processed and reinstalled.
• The floor originates from a 650-year-old, listed house on Nonntaler Hauptstraße in Salzburg.
• The bedroom on the upper floor is finished in Swiss pine and is heated by a cannon stove from Hamburg.
• The ground floor serves as a meditation room and is equipped with underfloor heating.
• For plaster only bio-lime was used.
• The windows and doors were made from reclaimed wood.
• All roofing coverings are made from handmade larch shingles and wooden eaves gutters.
• All metalwork is in copper.
• All stones used were collected by hand in the Hohe Tauern National Park in the Pinzgau.
• The stone slabs for the exterior areas were split by hand.
• Two boulders weighing 18 and 15 tons from the Hohe Tauern National Park were integrated into the exterior area.
• In the south-facing garden a access to the Taurach stream was created.
• A well with an reclaimed wood canopy leaves nothing to be desired.
• For fencing an original hand-split Pinzgauer fence was erected.
