The Waldhof is a distinctive, historic residential building in the district of Tragöß-Oberort. It is idyllically situated at the foot of the Hochschwab Group in the Haringgraben, not far from the parish church and directly on the hiking trail towards well-known mountain peaks such as the Meßnerin.

The Waldhof has a long tradition as an imposing rural country residence or larger farmstead. With the advent of tourism in Styria at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, the prestigious building was discovered as a summer retreat.

In the mid-20th century, the Waldhof became regionally known as Pension Waldhof. Historical postcards from the 1950s and 1960s attest to the house being a popular destination for holidaymakers seeking relaxation in the natural surroundings of the Grüner See. Today, the distinctive building, which visually resembles an elegant Alpine estate, is privately used.

With approx. 364 m² of living space, this manor villa, together with 17,05 ha of forest and meadowland, offers scope for individual projects—whether for the further development of an existing business, agricultural projects, or as a starting point for new concepts for use in a rural setting. This property has its own water source and offers a direct view of the neighboring 300 ha forest property in Tragöß.
