This stately estate was first mentioned in a document in the year 1542. For centuries the property served as a mill and was owned or under the rule of various noble families. The milling operation was maintained until the end of the 1960s.

In 1975 a medical doctor and his art-affine wife purchased the estate and restored the residential and mill building with great care, craftsmanship precision and much attention to detail. In doing so, the historic character of the buildings was preserved and harmoniously complemented with high-quality fittings.

The former mill building was used as a homeopathic practice. In the adjoining economic buildings stables for horse and goat breeding, an organic farm and an artist's studio were created.

The representative manor house offers a living area of around 320 m² and is complemented by an adjacent annex. Embedded in an approximately 10 hectare park-like grounds with old trees and extensive natural meadows, the estate presents itself as an exceptional rarity.
