Country House „Bachgeflüster“ – a fairy tale of the house at the edge of the forest

It was once a house, hidden on the edge of the small town on the sunny side of the Zugspitze, where the world becomes a little quieter and a small brook relentlessly sings its songs. They say that whoever enters this house leaves a piece of everyday life at the door.

One morning I woke up there. The mountains stood still on the horizon and the sun slowly climbed over their peaks – as if it were rising just for me. I stepped out onto the balcony, felt the clear air and heard the quiet Bachgeflüster below me.

Inside the house warmth awaited: a fireplace that told stories and tiled stoves in the apartments that with their warmth gave a sense of security.

Three apartments lived here – each with its own magic, each ready to write new stories. And somewhere between the walls a idea whispered: More could be created here. A fourth apartment, another chapter in this special fairy tale...

In winter a short path led directly up to the ski slope. No magic needed – only a few steps and the adventure began.

But when summer came, the house showed another side: Then the garden became a stage and the outdoor pool the glittering centerpiece. A place for warm days for laughter in the water and long evenings under the open sky.

When the sun finally disappeared behind the mountains, it bathed everything in golden light – and I never knew whether the sunrise was more beautiful or this quiet farewell of the day.

Thus I lived there, between forest and mountains, between warmth and openness, between moments that came – and stayed.

And when I think about it today, I sometimes ask myself: Was it only a fairy tale? Or is this house still waiting for its next story to begin?
