The apartment lies on the outskirts of Seyring, in the immediate vicinity of the S-Bahn station (S2).
Transportation
The apartment is located about 1 minute's walk from the rapid transit stop - stops in Vienna - e.g.: Leopoldau (U1), Floridsdorf (U6), Wien Mitte (U3).
The S-Bahn (S2) runs at least 3 times per hour to Vienna and takes about 9 minutes to reach Vienna.
To Vienna you need about 8 minutes via the new motorways connection (S 1) (12 km).
Via the S1 you reach among other things the following motorway connections - A22, A23 (Südosttangente), the new A5 (Weinviertel Autobahn).

Historical
In the Austrian core region of Lower Austria, on the edge of the Marchfeld, Seyring. In 1805 the cadastral municipality Gerasdorf was constituted. After the Anschluss to the Third Reich in 1938, the town Vienna was incorporated. In 1954 the municipality – with the Territorial Changes Act and the reassignment of the Vienna outer districts to the state of Lower Austria – became autonomous again. Only in 1972 was the municipality of Seyring incorporated into the municipality of Gerasdorf.
In May 1992 Gerasdorf was elevated to a market municipality. On 17 December 1998 the NÖ Landtag passed the elevation of Gerasdorf to city status.
The oldest places in the commune are Gerasdorf and Seyring. Gerasdorf is mentioned in documents for the first time around 1200 in the Klosterneuburger Tratitonsbuch, “Viricus des Gerhartesdorf” is a witness to a donation to the monastery.
The oldest documented mentions of Seyring also date from the 11th century; there are early mentions as “Seuringe”. It is said that a ring of lakes surrounded the village in the past, which may be the origin of the place name.
In the present cadastral community of Seyring, during World War II there was the airfield Seyring with the code name “Weather Frog” and an air combat school (Vienna-Seyring). During the Balkans Campaign 1941, the 4.(F) Reconnaissance Group 121 Luftflotte) was stationed there. From 1944 this military airfield was the target of Allied air raids. Craters in the surrounding forests and remnants of this airfield – such as a reinforced concrete runway, earth embankments around former gun emplacements and foundations of hangars – are still visible in and around Seyring today.
