Right in the middle of the charming Wienerwald at the foot of the Anninger there is in green Mödling a true jewel to discover. In Zone I of the building complex “Juwel im Grünen” a multifunctional building with sustainable energy supply is being created, in which a care facility for senior women and men is housed. The care is provided by Silberzeit GmbH (non-profit). A care fee is charged separately by the care organization.

The neighborhood grocery BILLA on the ground floor enables residents to have short trips for shopping for daily needs. The energy supply comes from a geothermal plant, which draws heat and cold from the ground. A PV system on the roof can also be used to generate electricity.
