In the heart of Graz, directly opposite the Graz Messe, the largest enclosed built living space in the state capital is being created. The concept, new for Graz at this size, not only fulfills all the necessary attributes of a modern urban living space with sufficient office, retail and gastronomy space, but also aims to provide for 571 rental apartments a 'community feeling'.

The MQG building – designed as a seven- to ten-story courtyard development – stands out for high architectural quality and a novel access to the four two-winged parts of the building for Graz. The two wings are each accessed via a longitudinal atrium up to eight meters wide. The covering of these atria with glass roofs provides weather protection on the one hand and creates generous, light-filled spaces on the other. This also allows all residential units to be cross-ventilated.

The ground floor zone consists of generous green spaces and furnished „living streets“, inviting all residents to relax in their home. In the eastern section of the site, a publicly accessible park is being created.

From MQG you can also reach your destination quickly without a car. A public sidewalk along Fröhlichgasse and the integration into the „Graz Radautobahn“ will be built. The basements include two underground garages, totaling three garage levels and 1.500 car parking spaces. Between the existing garage of the Messe Congress Graz and the underground garage in the MQG, a car connection tunnel and an under- and overground pedestrian connection to the Messevorplatz will be built.
