In the heart of Graz, directly opposite the Graz Trade Fair, the largest enclosed, developed living space in the state capital is being created. The concept, which is new for Graz in this size, not only fulfils all the necessary attributes of a modern, urban living space with sufficient office, retail and catering areas, but is also intended to enable a “community feeling” for 571 rental apartments.

The MQG building – designed as a seven- to ten-storey courtyard development – is characterised by high architectural quality and an access concept for the four two-winged building sections that is new for Graz. Each of the two wings is accessed via a communicative longitudinal atrium up to eight metres wide. Covering these atriums with glass roofs provides weather protection on the one hand and creates spacious, light-filled rooms on the other. This also means that all residential units can be cross-ventilated.

The ground-floor zone consists of spacious green areas and furnished “residential streets” that invite all residents to relax in their home. A publicly accessible park will be created in the eastern section of the property.

A wide range of cultural and leisure activities through the numerous events of Messe Congress Graz, the proximity to Augarten, as well as the optimal transport connections provided by public transport create a complete living environment.

You can also reach your destination quickly from MQG without a car. A public footpath along Fröhlichgasse and a connection to the “Graz Radautobahn” will be constructed. The basement levels contain two underground car parks, which together extend over three underground parking levels and 1,500 car parking spaces. A car connection tunnel and an underground and above-ground pedestrian connection to the fair forecourt will be constructed between the existing garage of Messe Congress Graz and the underground car park in MQG.
