With public transport or by bike you can reach further universities / universities of applied sciences in a few minutes. To Jakominiplatz you walk about 4 minutes. From here you can reach the entire Graz city area with a variety of bus and tram lines operated by GVB and with several regional buses to the Styrian countryside. The R2 cycle route, the Mur bike path, can be reached by bike in a few minutes. The popular bike path runs along the Mur toward Graz as well as further north and south along the Mur. It is a great starting point for excursions. By car it takes about 10 minutes to reach the Graz North motorway entrance. Here you reach the A9 (Pyhrn Autobahn) and in the north up to the Voralpenkreuz and in the south to the Slovenian border.
