Control is via a central room thermostat. In addition, the building is planned to be media-ready and offers flexible connection options for Internet, TV and telephone services.

In the Village im Dritten district, a strong focus is placed on sustainable energy supply. In addition to photovoltaic systems on the roofs, the integration of renewable and climate-friendly energy sources is a key part of the overall district. The present building is part of this quality urban environment.

Open spaces and surroundings

The open-space design is part of an overarching district concept and includes green sitting areas, playgrounds and publicly usable outdoor spaces. On the ground floor, the open spaces are divided into several areas, including the courtyard, play areas and passageways.
