The building was constructed around 1860 by ÖBB as a former workshop for locomotive and wagon manufacturing. The entire building is now undergoing a comprehensive renovation and will be used for a new use as a state-of-the-art office location. In the course of planning, particular care was taken to handle the building fabric gently. In addition, this should preserve the identity-defining character with reference to the history of the property. The building is thus given a completely new lifecycle.
