The new Elterleinplatz station (ca. 5 minutes on foot) will in turn connect the Hernals district to the subway network and thus provide a fast connection to the city center. Both stations will significantly enhance the micro-location of Bergsteiggasse.
The U5 line will, after completion of the works between 2032 and 2035, run from the Hernals transport hub (S-45, tram line 43) to Karlsplatz station (U1, U4), creating a new attractive and fast office connection to the city center.
