The round tower has an external diameter of around 10.60 m; including the roof frame, the building reaches a total height of approximately 21 meters.

On the upper floor there are two smaller residential/utility units of around 35 m² and 50 m² respectively, each with a sanitary area and kitchenette. The units were already used for residential purposes in the past and were last renovated around the year 2000.

The ground floor was most recently used predominantly as storage space. The different levels, historic rooms and vaulted spaces in particular offer interesting possibilities for future use, taking the heritage-protection framework into account.

Renovation with an existing foundation

The Fischerturm is in need of renovation. Due to its historic significance, the property is protected as a historic monument.

A significant advantage for a future owner: extensive investigations and planning have already been carried out for the renovation. The Federal Monuments Authority has approved the planned renovation of the roof structure, roof covering and façades subject to the corresponding heritage-preservation requirements.

The planned package of measures includes, among other things, the structural securing and renovation of the historic roof construction, work on the masonry and façade, the restoration of historic building elements, and measures on the ground floor. The aim is to preserve the valuable historic fabric as extensively as possible while simultaneously enabling sustainable use of the building.
