This historic miners’ house is situated in an idyllic, peaceful location, not far from the ski slope in the picturesque village of Jochberg.

The house stands on a 1,000 m² plot with a lovingly landscaped garden. As the sellers also own the surrounding plots designated for agricultural use, there is the possibility of expanding onto more than 3,800 m² of private land. However, the approval of the land transfer authority is required for this. Design drafts for the redesign of the garden are included with the photos, so that it is relatively easy to maintain.

The house is currently heated by the tiled stove in the living room, the wood-burning cooker in the kitchen and the fireplace in the large bedroom, although the current owners have used the latter extremely rarely. All preparations for the installation of a pellet heating system have already been made. Other alternative heating systems can also be installed.

Another special feature is the private spring that supplies the house with water.

In 2003, the historic miners’ house was converted and extended into its current condition. Great importance was placed on preserving the charm and historic parts of the house. The genuine old wood, traditional construction method and historic background make this property unique. There is no heritage protection. A complete cost estimate together with an offer for converting the heating system is also available. The concept provides for 24 PV modules on the roof and wall-mounted infrared heating inside.
