With Village in the Third a new, vibrant urban district is emerging in Vienna, consisting of around 2,000 apartments, as well as office and commercial spaces, local amenities and childcare and educational facilities, which combines modern living with plenty of green space, a sense of community and sustainable energy supply.
Parcel 14B plays a special role: two parts that unite into a single building - six and eleven stories high - fit harmoniously into the surroundings and create room for 109 apartments with two to five rooms as well as two ground-floor commercial spaces. The project particularly targets those who want to live near the center, urban and at the same time close to nature. Architecture with character
Designed by PLSA ZT Architects, Parcel 14B will become a genuine cube of forms for diverse work and living spaces, in conjunction with a high quality of outdoor spaces. The chessboard arrangement of projections and recesses as well as floor-by-floor changing facade views create unique layouts that, depending on the apartment size, offer several (garden) loggias or balconies. Predominantly generous, floor-to-ceiling windows and green loggias bring a lot of light inside and let nature be part of living.
A special highlight is the open atrium area on the ground floor, which acts as the “Green Center,” loosening architecture and creating meeting spaces.
